Dinking & Dashing: Our Pickleball Journey
Rec pickleball isn’t about scores, schedules, or stats. It’s the joy, the chaos, and the “you had to be there” moments that keep us hooked.
The problem? Until now, there was nowhere to keep it all. Games blurred together. Names faded. Stories disappeared. The personality of rec pickleball was getting lost.
We built Dink & Dash to change that ...a playful, personality-packed app for the culture of pickleball, not just the logistics.

How it started
Two sisters, two paddles, and the idea that every trip counts. Work trip? Vacation? Nine-hour road trip? Didn’t matter ... the paddles came with us.
Sometimes we hit alone. Other times we’d walk up to strangers with a “Hey, mind if we join?” Minutes later, we’d be swapping stories like old friends.
We played in rain and shine, in Crocs (Carrie swears by them), on backroads and in big cities. We kept mental notes on every court, every character, every “did that really happen?” moment... like Marty’s curveball that made us stop mid-game.
Eventually, we set a goal: play in all 50 states, stamping each court like a passport. And that’s when it clicked.

And just like that, Dink & Dash was born.
